This slide show is comprised of images taken with my iPhone in Cuba January 2015.
A little information about me.
Photography for me began in the late 80's with slides and film.
However, in the 90's with the introduction of digital photography , my photography took a new direction.
I jumped in with both feet learning the computer, Photoshop, scanner and printing.
Today my passion is the iPhone.
Having the capability to capture the image with the iPhone and then to totally turn it into a piece of fine art with only the apps that are on my iPhone or iPad is just amazing.
Many of the images have been printed on brushed aluminum, canvas and made into encaustic pieces of art.
Who knows what the future brings .
It is all so exciting.
My photography is an interpretation of what I would like to share with you.
Capturing the image with my camera or iPhone, re-creating and then printing with the Epson 3800 printer onto- watercolor, parchment ,canvas and fine art papers.
And "3rd party" having them printed onto aluminum.
Some of my wine images are now printed on canvas and aluminum are in wine tasting rooms. Two of the images have been used as labels for Napa Wine. One of my image has been used for the cover of a western novel "Cold as Clay"
Many images have been in local shows, fairs, galleries, hospitals, Hospice, restaurants and in many private collections.
